Israeli Army Uses Phosphorus Bombs in Attack on Southern Lebanon

Israeli Army Targets Lebanese Towns with Phosphorus Bombs

In a recent report from the official Lebanese agency NNA, it was revealed that the Israeli army’s artillery units have launched attacks on several towns in Lebanon. The town of al-Adise in the Kefr Kila region was reportedly bombed, with Israeli forces using phosphorus bombs to target the Matal al-Jabel area in the town of al-Khiyam.

Additionally, Israeli warplanes were said to have bombed the town of al-Hıyam-Bab al-Seniyye, and launched air-to-ground missiles at the town of Ayta al-Shaab. Artillery units also targeted the vicinity of the town of al-Wazani, as well as the Wadi Hamul region and the surroundings of the ad-Dahira town.

The attacks resulted in the destruction of three houses in Sheba Town Valley in Hasbiya, although fortunately, there were no reported injuries or casualties. These hostilities are part of ongoing clashes between Hezbollah and the Israeli army along the Lebanon-Israel border since October 8, 2023.

The international community is closely monitoring the situation and calls for an immediate cessation of violence to prevent further escalation and harm to civilians in the region.
