Israeli female soldiers refute drug allegations

Israeli State Television’s Kan reported that four female soldiers from the Gaza Strip were released by the Israeli army doctors and deemed to be in good and stable condition after an examination. Israeli doctors confirmed that the female soldiers did not receive any stimuli or drugs while in captivity.

This revelation contradicts claims made by Israel that Hamas had provided the female soldiers with stimulants disguised as vitamins and calming agents before their release. The Israeli soldiers were released as part of a second round of a captive exchange between Hamas and Israel, with the Israeli side releasing 120 Palestinian prisoners in return.

The Kassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, shared an image of the four Israeli female soldiers who were released as part of the exchange agreement. The soldiers appeared in clean clothing, with smiling faces, and displayed an extremely healthy appearance. They were also seen speaking Arabic in the image, despite the ongoing conflict and violence.

In the first round of the captive exchange, which took place on January 19, 90 Palestinians and three Israeli prisoners were released. This exchange was part of a ceasefire and captivity agreement between Hamas and Israel, which came into effect on the same day.

The positive condition of the released female soldiers and the successful exchange between the two parties are seen as a step towards peace and reconciliation in the region. The images shared by the Kassam Brigades also highlighted the human side of the conflict, showing moments of connection and understanding between the opposing sides.
