Israeli Forces’ Attack in Rafah Leads to Dozens Dead
In the latest news from Gaza, Ismail es-Sevabite, General Director of the Media Office of the government, has accused Israel of carrying out attacks on civilians’ homes and vehicles in the city of Rafah. According to Sevabite, these attacks have resulted in the deaths of dozens of people.
“Occupied Israel argues that Rafah is a safe zone and calls for immigration here. However, it also targets those who come here,” Sevabite stated, highlighting the contradiction in Israel’s actions.
He also accused Israel of lying to people and deliberately targeting civilians’ homes and vehicles, leading to an increase in the number of deaths. The city of Rafah, located on the border with Egypt in the south of the Gaza Strip, is currently hosting approximately half the population of Gaza, with thousands of people displaced due to Israeli attacks taking shelter in the city.
Israeli forces have been conducting frequent air strikes on the city of Rafah, raising concerns about the lack of shelter for civilians in the Gaza Strip if Israel were to launch a land attack on the city.
