Israeli Forces Carry Out Night Raids in West Bank Cities, Injuring Palestinians
According to reports from the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli soldiers have continued their night raids on various West Bank cities, including Hebron, Al-Bire, Ramallah, and Tulkerim.
In the town of Kaffin, located north of Tulkarim, Israeli forces reportedly used live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas against Palestinians during a raid. As a result, a 49-year-old woman was injured by shrapnel and had to be taken to the hospital.
Additionally, two young individuals were detained during a raid on houses in Bitunya town, west of Ramallah. In the Et-Tavil Mountain region of Al-Bire and the Al-Hiriyya Valley region in Hebron, raids were also conducted, although no arrests or injuries were reported in those areas.
These incidents are part of a larger trend that has been ongoing since October 7, 2023, following the Israeli army’s attack on the Gaza Strip. As a result, there has been a notable increase in detentions, raids, and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. Tragically, 518 Palestinians have lost their lives in these raids since October 7.
The situation remains tense in the region as Israeli forces continue their operations, leading to further clashes and violence. It is crucial for the international community to pay attention to these developments and work towards a peaceful resolution to the conflict to prevent further loss of life and suffering among the Palestinian population.
