Israeli Forces Raid City of Jenin, Destroy Palestinian Properties
Eyewitnesses report that bulldozers accompanied Israeli forces during a recent raid on the city of Jenin. The raid saw Israeli forces entering the city from various directions, with snipers positioned on the roofs of high-rise buildings. Some neighborhoods were besieged by Israeli forces, who also positioned themselves in front of the emergency entrances of Jenin State Hospital, as well as al-Razi and al-Amal hospitals.
During the raid, bulldozers were used to destroy the camp’s infrastructure systems and Palestinian properties. Eyewitnesses also reported that an armed conflict broke out between army forces and Palestinians, with sporadic explosions heard throughout the city.
This recent raid is part of a larger pattern of aggression by the Israeli army, which has also carried out raids in various parts of the West Bank. Since October 7, when Israeli forces began their attacks on Gaza, there has been a notable increase in detentions and raids on Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The violence has resulted in 275 Palestinian deaths since October 7, with attacks by Israeli forces and illegal Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. This ongoing violence has raised international concerns about the humanitarian crisis in the region, and calls for an end to the aggression on Palestinian communities.
