Israeli Soldiers Continue Raids on Palestinian Houses in the West Bank
The Prisoners and Released Delegation of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestine Prisoners Association have released a joint statement revealing the ongoing raids by Israeli soldiers on the houses of Palestinians in the West Bank.
According to the statement, Israeli forces have conducted raids in the cities of Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, Tulkerim, and Jenin since last night. A total of 14 individuals, including former detainees and 2 children, were detained during these operations.
The statement also highlighted that the homes of Palestinians were destroyed during the raids, and those who were detained, along with their families, were subjected to beatings and threats. The number of Palestinians detained in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since October 7, 2023, has now exceeded 12 thousand.
Since Israel launched its attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, there has been a notable increase in detentions, raids, and attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Tragically, 815 Palestinians have lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Israeli soldiers and settlers in the occupied territories since that date.
The situation continues to escalate, and calls for international intervention to protect the rights and safety of Palestinians in the region are growing louder. The violations of human rights and international law must be addressed, and efforts towards achieving a just and lasting peace in the region must be intensified.
