Israeli Forces Detain 30 Palestinians in West Bank Invasion

Israeli forces continue to detain Palestinians in raids across the West Bank, including children, according to a joint statement by the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Prisoners Society.
At least 30 Palestinians were detained in the recent raids conducted by Israeli soldiers in various cities of the West Bank. The raids began on January 21st, with 175 people detained in Jenin and Tulkarem cities, and an additional 150 people detained in a refugee camp.
The increased detentions, raids, and attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have been ongoing since October 7, 2023, when Israel initiated an attack on the Gaza Strip. During this period, 167 children have lost their lives due to the attacks by Israeli soldiers, with 917 Palestinians killed and nearly 7,000 injured in the occupied territories.
The ongoing violence and detention of Palestinians have raised concerns among human rights organizations and the international community. The PLO and Palestinian Prisoners Society have called for an end to the raids and detentions, urging for respect of the rights of Palestinian civilians in the region. The situation continues to be monitored closely as tensions remain high in the conflict-affected areas.
