Turkey Condemns Israel’s Attack on UN-Operated School in Gaza
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey has released a statement strongly condemning the recent attack carried out by Israel on the Al-Fakhoora school operated by the United Nations in Gaza. The attack, which took place on November 18, resulted in the tragic deaths of dozens of innocent Palestinian children.
According to the statement, this attack is further evidence of Israel’s direct targeting of civilians, particularly children, in a deliberate and ruthless manner. The ministry also highlighted the alarming number of women and children who have lost their lives at the hands of Israel in Gaza over the last five weeks, calling it a source of shame for humanity.
The international community was urged to no longer turn a blind eye to Israel’s disregard for the law and human values with these grave crimes. The ministry emphasized that those responsible for the massacres in Gaza will be held accountable for the indescribable pain they have caused, leaving a dark mark on human history.
In light of these events, Turkey is calling for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire to be declared in Gaza. The ministry urged every conscientious member of the international community to take necessary steps in this direction.
The statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reflects Turkey’s firm stance against Israel’s actions in Gaza and its commitment to seeking justice for the victims of these attacks. It also calls for the international community to take a stand against such violations of human rights and humanitarian law.
