Israeli Soldiers Raid Palestinian Town, Resulting in Casualties
Israeli soldiers recently conducted a raid in the town of Beita, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. During the raid, the soldiers utilized live ammunition and tear gas, causing harm to many Palestinian residents in the area.
The use of tear gas led to widespread discomfort and respiratory issues among the affected Palestinians. Additionally, clashes between the Israeli soldiers and Palestinian civilians erupted during the raid, further escalating tensions in the region.
In addition to the raid in Beita, Israeli soldiers also targeted the Ras Ayn, Karum Ashur, and Fatayir neighborhoods in Nablus. These actions are part of a broader pattern of escalating detentions, raids, and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since Israel’s attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
Tragically, since October 7, a total of 561 Palestinians have lost their lives in the occupied West Bank due to attacks carried out by Israeli soldiers and settlers who have illegally occupied Palestinian lands. This violence underscores the ongoing conflict and human rights abuses faced by Palestinians living under Israeli occupation.
