Two Palestinians Killed and Four Injured in Israeli Army Raid in Tulkerim
A woman and a child lost their lives and four people were injured in Tulkerim, according to a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The incident occurred as a result of the fire opened by Israeli soldiers in the city.
Official Palestinian agency WAFA reported that the Israeli army carried out a raid in the city of Tulkerim and the Tulkerim Refugee Camp in the occupied West Bank. Sources at Sabit State Hospital in Tulkerim identified the Palestinians who lost their lives in the Israeli army raid as 46-year-old Nesrin Damiri and 15-year-old Muhammed Serhan.
The number of Palestinians who have lost their lives in the attacks by Israeli soldiers and settlers in the occupied West Bank since October 7, 2023, has now reached 556. Since Israel’s attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, there has been an increase in detentions, raids, and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The ongoing violence in the region continues to escalate, with innocent lives being lost on both sides. The international community is urged to intervene and help find a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
