Israeli Soldiers Injure 2 Children with Live Bullets

Israeli Soldiers Raid Town in West Bank, Injure Palestinian Children
Israeli soldiers recently raided the town of Beit Furik, located east of Nablus in the northern West Bank. The raid led to a confrontation between the town’s residents and the Israeli soldiers, resulting in violence.
During the altercation, the Israeli army used live ammunition and tear gas against the Palestinians. As a result, two children, aged 16 and 14, were injured by live bullets in their feet. They were promptly taken for medical treatment by the Palestinian Red Crescent.
In addition to the raid in Beit Furik, reports have surfaced of Israeli settlers attacking Palestinians and their property in other parts of the West Bank. Official Palestinian television revealed that Israeli individuals had set fire to agricultural lands in the village of Surra, located in Nablus.
Eyewitnesses reported that firefighters from Nablus Municipality worked tirelessly to extinguish the fire in Surra. Meanwhile, in the southern West Bank, Israeli settlers stormed the village of Susya, south of Hebron, and assaulted some of the residents.
Disturbing images shared on social media showed masked Israelis wielding clubs while attacking Palestinians in Susiya village, part of Masafer Yatta in Hebron, situated in the southern West Bank.
Since October 7, 2023, a total of 640 Palestinians have lost their lives due to attacks by Israeli soldiers and settlers in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. Following Israel’s assault on Gaza on the same day, there has been a surge in detentions, raids, and attacks targeting Palestinians in the occupied territories.
