Israelis Kill 487 Palestinians in West Bank in 200 Days
In the last 24 hours, Israeli attacks in the West Bank city of Jericho have resulted in the death of one person and left 5 others injured, including one in serious condition in the cities of Hebron and Selfit, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The statement released by the ministry also revealed that a total of 487 individuals, including 122 children and 4 women, have lost their lives, while 4,900 others have been injured in the past 200 days due to the attacks carried out by Israeli forces and illegal Jewish settlers in the West Bank. The escalating violations began on October 7, coinciding with the attacks on Gaza.
Among the casualties, it was reported that 10 prisoners held in Israeli jails were among those who died as a result of the ongoing conflict.
Since the initiation of the Israeli army’s offensive in Gaza on October 7, 2023, there has been a notable surge in detentions, raids, and assaults targeting Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. The situation remains tense as violence continues to escalate in the region.
