Israel’s Attack on Gaza Shelters Leaves 3 Palestinians Dead, 28 Injured
Israel’s Brutal Attacks on Gaza Leave Dozens Dead and Injured
The situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate as Israel’s attacks on the region intensify. Reports from Al-Awde Hospital in Nusayrat Refugee Camp indicate that 13 people were injured in Israel’s recent assault on displaced Palestinians near Yemen al-Said Hospital in Jibaliyah. Tragically, three Palestinians lost their lives and 15 others were injured in an Israeli attack on Hafsa School in Cibaliye Refugee Camp.
The Israeli army has been imposing a harsh blockade on the northern regions of Gaza, including Jibaliye Refugee Camp, Beit Lahiya, and Beit Hanun. This blockade is accompanied by ongoing land and air strikes, creating a dire situation for the residents of these areas. Israel’s ultimate goal seems to be to force Palestinians to relocate from the north to the south of Gaza, using air strikes, land occupation, siege, and starvation as means of coercion.
Since the start of Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, a devastating toll has been taken on the Palestinian population. A staggering 42,227 Palestinians, including approximately 17,000 children and 11,378 women, have lost their lives, and 98,464 people have been injured as a result of these brutal assaults.
The international community is urged to take action and intervene to put an end to the violence and suffering inflicted on the people of Gaza. The human rights violations and loss of innocent lives cannot be ignored, and immediate steps must be taken to address this humanitarian crisis.
