Israel’s Deadly Assault: 25 Palestinians Killed
Israel’s attacks in Gaza continue to escalate, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 Palestinians in the city of Khan Younis and northern Gaza. The Civil Defense Unit in Gaza reported that 5 Palestinians were killed in attacks on various areas and houses in northern Gaza, and also highlighted that Israel has been blocking food and vital supplies from entering northern Gaza for the past 91 days.
In a separate incident, a large-scale fire broke out in white goods warehouses and surrounding shops in the city of Beit Lahya in northern Gaza following an Israeli airstrike. Thankfully, the fire has been brought under control with only material damage reported. The Civil Defense Unit announced that their teams were able to respond to the fire and prevent a second attack on the area.
The ongoing violence in Gaza is a cause for concern, with innocent civilians bearing the brunt of the attacks. The international community must step in to ensure the safety and well-being of the people in Gaza, and to work towards a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
