ITT Summit Kicks off at BRTK
The 15th Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Heads of State and Government Summit has officially begun in Banjul, the capital of Gambia. President Ersin Tatar is representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at this important summit, which is taking place after a three-year hiatus. The theme of the summit is “Strengthening Unity and Solidarity through Dialogue for Sustainable Development”.
During the summit, President Tatar will engage in bilateral meetings with other leaders and participate in a dinner in honor of the heads of state and government in attendance. He is also scheduled to deliver a speech highlighting the priorities and goals of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as an observer member of the OIC.
The summit provides an opportunity for member states to come together, engage in dialogue, and collaborate on issues related to sustainable development and unity. As one of the participating leaders, President Tatar will play a crucial role in shaping the discussions and outcomes of the summit.
