Jennifer Lopez to Headline in Kazakhstan This August
Global superstar Jennifer Lopez is set to dazzle fans in Astana as part of her Up All Night tour on Aug. 1 at the Astana Arena. The announcement was made on her Instagram page, sparking excitement among her Kazakhstani fans.
The tour, which kicks off on July 1 and concludes on Aug. 3, will see Lopez perform in 17 cities around the world, including Antalya, Istanbul, Madrid, Barcelona, Budapest, Warsaw, Bucharest, and Abu Dhabi, among others.
During a government meeting, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov emphasized the importance of positioning Kazakhstan as a regular destination for such global-scale events to attract more tourists and boost the country’s tourism industry.
Astana Venue Management CEO Malik Khassenov anticipates over 15,000 foreign tourists to attend the concert in Astana, with a projected economic impact of 6.5 billion tenge (US$12.3 million) on the city’s economy. Additionally, direct tax revenues from the concert are expected to exceed 400 million tenge (over US$761,700).
