Judge Sidar Demiroğlu Suspended from Duty

The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor İsmail Uçar has taken action to address concerns about the functioning of the judiciary by sending a letter to the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) and requesting an investigation.
In response, 3 inspectors appointed by HSK have completed their preliminary report as part of the investigation initiated regarding the notice petition.
Following this, the HSK 2nd Chamber has decided to temporarily suspend Sidar Demiroğlu, the President of the 21st High Criminal Court of the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse, until the investigation is completed.
This move comes as a significant development in addressing the concerns raised about the functioning of the judiciary in Istanbul. It shows the commitment of the relevant authorities to ensure the proper functioning of the judicial system and to address any issues that may arise.
It is important to note that such actions are crucial in maintaining public trust in the judiciary and upholding the principles of justice and fairness.
