Minister Uraloğlu Provides Information About July 15 Democracy and National Unity Train
Minister Uraloğlu recently released a statement providing details about the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Train. The train set was specifically designed with the theme of “Victory of the Nation,” highlighting the significance of the historical day in Turkish history.
The July 15 Democracy and National Unity Train, which first began in 2018 and will embark on its 6th journey this year, will be bidding farewell from Ankara High-Speed Train Station on the 14th of July. On the night of the 15th of July, a date deeply engraved in the national memory, the nation will pay tribute to the 251 martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice and express gratitude to the 2,740 veterans who bravely stood against the coup attempt.
This year, the train will travel between Ankara-Eskişehir-İstanbul and İstanbul-Konya-İstanbul, covering a total of 56 thousand kilometers over 2 months and transporting approximately 60 thousand passengers. Minister Uraloğlu highlighted that the train will have a capacity of 411 passengers, symbolizing the unity and strength of the nation in the face of adversity.
In his statement, Minister Uraloğlu emphasized the importance of carrying on the legacy of the struggle against the coup attempt on July 15th. The July 15 Democracy and National Unity Train serves as a symbol of resilience and determination, carrying the message of democracy and national unity to future generations.
As the train embarks on its journey once again, the nation honors the memory of the martyrs who fought valiantly for the country’s freedom and independence. Minister Uraloğlu concluded by offering prayers for the 251 martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the national will, freedom, and sovereignty of the Turkish nation.
