Kassam Brigades Ambush Israeli Infantry in Gaza

Escalating Tensions: Kassam Brigades Target Israeli Forces in Gaza
In a recent statement released on their Telegram account, the Kassam Brigades reported a significant operation in the Ez-Zehra Mosque area of Rafah, targeting an Israeli infantry unit. According to the announcement, a meticulously planned ambush was executed against a group of six Israeli soldiers.
The ambush reportedly involved the use of a tunnel rigged with explosives. As Israeli forces entered the tunnel, a detonation occurred, leading to a clash that resulted in casualties among the soldiers. The Kassam Brigades claimed that during the operation, two Israeli tanks were targeted using a missile known as "Yasin-105," adding to the impact of the ambush.
Following the confrontation, the Israeli army announced in a statement that two soldiers, including a captain, were killed, while two others sustained serious injuries in the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip.
The Kassam Brigades had previously paused their offensive activities after Israel disrupted a ceasefire and resumed assaults on Gaza starting March 18. However, they have reportedly rekindled their confrontations with Israeli soldiers, launching ambushes and attacks once again around 20 days ago.
In light of the escalating conflict, Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza have been limited in their communication capabilities due to continuous Israeli military actions. As a result, they have resorted to publishing videos and images of their operations, which resonate deeply with families of prisoners in Gaza and also serve to influence public sentiment within Israeli society regarding the ongoing conflict.
