Over 200 associations and organizations exist to unite Kazakhs abroad, with a strong presence in countries like Russia, Uzbekistan, Europe, Asian countries, the United States, and Canada. These groups play a crucial role in fostering unity and solidarity among Kazakh expatriates.
In countries like South Korea and the United States, Kazakhs have organized themselves to celebrate their cultural traditions and provide support to newcomers. Festivals like Nauryz are prominent occasions for community engagement, while organizations offer assistance with various aspects of integration such as accommodation, employment, and adaptation.
Despite the geographical dispersion of Kazakh diasporas, solidarity remains strong, particularly during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. Associations like Birlik in Europe and various groups in the United States work towards uniting all Kazakh compatriots, regardless of their background or arrival time.
