Kazakhstan’s horse Kabir Khan had a dream start in its international horseracing career, winning twice at the Al Maktoum Challenge tournament in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Jan. 12 and Jan. 26. These victories have earned Kabir Khan a spot at the Dubai World Cup, one of the biggest events in horse racing.

Kabir Khan made its debut at the Almaty hippodrome in Kazakhstan in 2022, participating in three races. After winning all three races, Kabir Khan unexpectedly came up for sale, and Mukanbetkaliyev couldn’t resist the opportunity to acquire the talented horse.

Mukanbetkaliyev explained that growing a winning horse is not a one-person job but involves many great people, including a good horse, trainer, and jockey, as well as having a dream and asking for God’s blessing.

In addition to Kabir Khan, Mukanbetkaliyev has five valuable young bloodstock waiting to enter races, including Kabir Khan’s younger brother.
