28 Loops Public Foundation: Knitting for a Cause
For over a decade, the 28 Loops Public Foundation in Kazakhstan has been dedicated to supporting premature newborns by providing them with hand-knitted woolen clothing to help them stay warm and conserve energy for survival. Founded in 2012 by Karla Nur, the project has grown to include 150 branches with over 6,000 active volunteers. To date, more than 400,000 knitted items have been donated to help newborns in need. Volunteers are required to deliver knitted items quarterly, organize regular meetings, and share updates on social media platforms.
