Kazakh and Kyrgyz Foreign Ministers Meet to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu and Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev held discussions during the Council of Foreign Ministers meeting on April 18. The two officials initiated the draft decision of the sixth meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of both countries.
The upcoming Supreme Interstate Council meeting is scheduled for April 19, coinciding with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov’s official visit to Kazakhstan. The leaders of both countries will chair the meeting to further strengthen the cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the ministers emphasized their commitment to deepening and expanding allied relations based on friendship, brotherhood, mutual respect, and good neighborliness. They also aligned their perspectives on current regional and international issues, highlighting the constructive collaboration within multilateral structures and their mutual support for each other’s international initiatives.
