The partnership extends to regional interactions, with the establishment of sister city relations between Kazakhstan’s Kyzylorda Region and Vietnam’s Hưng Yên Province. The two nations also confirmed the sale transaction of Qazaq Air shares from Samruk Kazyna to the Sovico Group, alongside agreements in geological exploration.

Kazakhstan’s delegation informed the Vietnamese representatives about advancements in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, inviting Vietnam to utilize this route to facilitate various export directions through Kazakh territory.

Vietnam expressed its commitment to act as a bridge, supporting Kazakhstan’s integration efforts with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its member countries. Both parties emphasized the importance of deepening political dialogue and enhancing diplomatic relations, while also exploring joint initiatives in defense, trade, investment, and finance.

Further discussions included strategies to collaborate in agriculture, energy, tourism, education, labor, and environmental protection. The leaders sought to bolster regional ties and promote people-to-people exchanges, aiming to boost cooperation in international forums.

President Tokayev honored Tô Lâm by presenting him with the Order of Dostyk (Friendship) of the first degree, heralding the visit as "truly historic" and a vital milestone in Kazakhstan-Vietnam relations.
