Armenian President Emphasizes Strong Partnership with Kazakhstan
President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan recently expressed the strong and friendly relationship between Armenia and Kazakhstan during an interview with Kazinform. Khachaturyan highlighted the importance of the bilateral cooperation and the promising opportunities for further collaboration between the two countries.
During his official visit to Kazakhstan on Oct. 15-16, Khachaturyan met with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and engaged in various activities, including a tour of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and the inauguration of the Days of Armenian Culture in Kazakhstan.
Khachaturyan noted the long-standing friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Armenia, emphasizing the continuous cooperation in various aspects such as economy, culture, new technologies, and politics. He highlighted the significance of both countries’ leaders in leveraging their historical ties for the development of their nations.
Furthermore, Khachaturyan mentioned the shared tasks and challenges faced by both countries, particularly in the areas of political and economic transformation. He praised Kazakhstan’s initiatives in IT and high technologies and expressed interest in collaborating in these fields. Education and the energy sector were also identified as priority areas for cooperation, with a focus on developing nuclear power capabilities to address future energy needs.
Overall, the Armenian President’s visit reaffirmed the strong partnership between Armenia and Kazakhstan, reflecting a commitment to further enhance bilateral relations and create new opportunities for mutual benefit and growth.
