Top global experts gathered at the Digital Almaty forum, held from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1, to discuss the potential of non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication systems in bridging the digital divide. Hosted by the Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry, the forum highlighted the crucial role these systems can play in providing high-speed internet access to remote areas.
NGSO systems offer low-latency and high-speed internet connectivity, making them essential for various sectors such as telecommunications, transport, defense, and emergency response.
