Air Astana to Launch Direct Flights Between Shymkent and Jeddah
Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s national airline, is set to introduce direct flights between Shymkent and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia starting from September 10. The flights will be operated twice a week using Airbus A320 aircraft, with a ticket price starting at approximately 384,600 tenge (US$813) for a return journey.
The duration of the flight between Shymkent and Jeddah is five hours and 35 minutes, providing passengers with a convenient and comfortable travel option between the two cities. It is worth noting that Air Astana also offers flights to Jeddah from Almaty.
In addition to this new route, Air Astana has recently resumed its direct flight between Astana and Seoul, expanding its network of international destinations and providing more options for travelers. These developments align with the airline’s commitment to providing efficient and reliable air travel services both domestically and internationally.
