Kazakhstan Secures 21 Licenses for 2024 Summer Paralympics
Kazakhstan is gearing up for the 2024 Summer Paralympics, as the country has secured 21 licenses to participate in the prestigious event. The announcement was made by the Tourism and Sports Ministry’s press service on July 11.
Kazakh para athletes will be competing in a total of eight sports at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024. These include para powerlifting (5 licenses), para athletics (3), para swimming (4), sitting volleyball (1), para table tennis (1), para taekwondo (3), para canoe (2) and para bullet shooting (2).
The Paralympic Games Paris 2024 are scheduled to take place from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8, spanning over 11 days of intense competition. Kazakhstan’s para athletes are set to demonstrate their skills and compete against the world’s best para athletes in their respective sports.
