Kazakhstan-Turkey Strengthen Agriculture and Food Industry Collaboration
Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu recently met with the leadership of two Turkish companies in Istanbul to discuss investment projects that will enhance Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial and food industries. The meeting, which took place on April 17, aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and foster economic development in both countries.
During the meeting, Nurtleu engaged in discussions with Orzax CEO Yunus Emre Alimoğlu about the company’s project to produce dietary supplements in the Turkistan Region. This project, supported by the Kazakh government, is progressing on schedule and is expected to contribute to the growth of the region’s economy.
Additionally, Alarko Holding Chairman Izzet Garih shared plans for the construction of a modern greenhouse complex in Shymkent. Garih expressed confidence in the success of the project and highlighted the potential for expanding operations in Kazakhstan. The development of this greenhouse complex is expected to boost agricultural production and create employment opportunities in the region.
