Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina and Yulia Putintseva Continue to Shine in Latest WTA Rankings
Astana – Kazakhstan’s tennis stars are making waves in the latest Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, with Elena Rybakina reclaiming the fifth spot and Yulia Putintseva jumping into the top 20 for the first time in her career.
Rybakina remains the highest-ranked player from Kazakhstan, showcasing her talent and determination on the court. Joining her are Zarina Diyas at 361st and Sonya Zhienbayeva at 633rd, as reported by the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation’s press service on Jan. 27.
In doubles, Anna Danilina has climbed two spots to secure the 20th position, while Zhibek Kulambayeva holds firm at 156th. Sandugash Kenzhibayeva, the recent winner of the ITF 15 event in Antalya, is ranked 579th. Assylzhan Arystanbekova, who has made a successful transition to the adult tour this season, is currently at 748th.
