Kılıçdaroğlu Receives 44.79% of Votes in 2023 Presidential Elections
The results of the 14 May 2023 Presidential elections in Turkey have revealed that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has received 49.49% of the votes while Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has received 44.79% of the votes. According to Ahmet Yener, Chairman of the Supreme Board of Elections, there were no disruptions or delays in the data entry of the YSK.
As of the time of Yener’s statement at 02:25, 47.08% of the votes in the country and 12.60% of the votes abroad had been entered into the system. In case of any delays, Yener stated that the law and the election calendar provide guidelines for a proper process.
