Kemalpaşa Municipality Scandal: Suspects Sent to Courthouse in Gülşen Investigation
The Kemalpaşa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation into the Gülşen concert notice, which was planned for the 29 October Republic Day in November of last year but was ultimately canceled due to a terrorist attack in Ankara.
After approximately 5 months of diligent work and evidence collection, it was revealed that suspects associated with a public institution had allegedly gained unfair advantages by causing harm to the said institution. As a result, the prosecutor’s office issued instructions for their detention.
Following these instructions, the Kemalpaşa District Police Department teams conducted an operation, leading to the arrest and detention of the Deputy Mayor, EU, former Culture and Social Affairs Manager, HB, Municipal staff, SK and BB, as well as an official from the organization company, SP. The five suspects underwent the necessary procedures in safety and were subsequently brought to the Kemalpaşa Courthouse in the morning.
This development underscores the commitment of authorities to uphold justice and integrity, ensuring that those who engage in illegal activities are held accountable for their actions. Further investigations will likely shed more light on the case and potential implications for all involved parties.
