Kılıçdaroğlu Works to Ensure Ballot Box Security for 1.5 Years
CHP Chairman and Nation Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has raised concerns over election security measures in a recent television broadcast. Speaking of the judiciary being under control, Kılıçdaroğlu expressed a lack of trust in the YSK, TRT, and Anadolu Agency. He went on to state that the CHP has been working for the security of ballot boxes for 1.5 years, with a team of young volunteers being trained to cover 99.9% of the ballot boxes. The CHP’s election representatives have been appointed after careful screening, with the team being trained well in fail-safes. Kılıçdaroğlu warned citizens to stay off the streets and avoid making a show of joy on election night, as it could cause outrage and provocation. Volunteer lawyers will work in schools in all major cities to address any problems reported by polling stations before the YSK gives the mandate. Kılıçdaroğlu also expressed worry about the YSK taking undesired actions in the elections, destroying trust in the judiciary.
