Killer Strikes Again in Tulkerim and Refugee Camp on Day 68

Israeli Army Sends Military Reinforcements to Tulkerim and Refugee Camps
According to reports from the Palestinian official agency WAFA, the Israeli army has sent military reinforcements to the city of Tulkerim and two refugee camps in the early hours of the day. The Israeli army has been conducting a siege on the Tulkerim refugee camp for 68 days, leading to the forced migration of residents and the complete emptying of the camp.
Evidence shows that the camp has been left in ruins, with houses and facilities destroyed and Palestinian properties set on fire. The situation escalated with intense military troops deployed on the route to the Nur Şems Camp in the east of the city, where attacks have been ongoing for 55 days.
Reports also indicate intense gunfire in the camp, with Israeli soldiers setting up checkpoints in the city and camps, disrupting vehicle traffic in the region. Soldiers have been stopping and searching vehicles, even seizing money from one of the vehicles and detaining young people for further investigation.
Israel’s attacks on the north of the West Bank have intensified following the ceasefire in Gaza on January 19. The Israeli Army launched attacks on various locations including Cenin, Tulkerim, Tubas’s al-Faria refugee camp, Tamun town, and Nur Shams Refugee Camp. The incursions have caused significant damage and casualties, with 170 children and 944 Palestinians losing their lives, and nearly 7,000 people injured in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The ongoing violence and destruction in the area continue to raise concerns for the safety and well-being of the Palestinian residents in the region, as tensions between the Israeli army and local communities remain high.
