“KPSS Exam Fee Waived in Earthquake Zone”

Candidates living in areas affected by the recent earthquake in Turkey will be exempt from paying exam and application service fees for the KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Exam). The announcement was made by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center Presidency (ÖSYM) President, Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy.
Candidates living in Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa, Sivas-Gürün or who have recently relocated to these regions due to the earthquake will be eligible for the exemption.
ÖSYM will be checking the address information of the applicants through the Address Based Population Registration System. Those whose addresses have not been confirmed in the system will not be eligible for the fee exemption.
The application period for 2023-KPSS Group A and Teaching (GY-GK/Educational Sciences/Field Knowledge/ÖABT) will be open from 16.05.2023-29.05.2023.
ÖSYM’s decision to waive fees for earthquake-affected candidates shows their compassion and understanding of the difficulties faced by the applicants. This step will go a long way in supporting the affected candidates in their pursuit of public service careers.
