Turkish Cypriot Journalists Union Organizes Events for World Press Freedom Day
The Turkish Cypriot Journalists Union is gearing up to celebrate World Press Freedom Day on May 3rd with a series of events aimed at promoting freedom of the press and discussing important issues facing journalists today.
One of the main events organized by the union is a training session titled “Digital Tools for Journalists”, which will take place today at 18.00. This training will cover topics such as news verification strategies, artificial intelligence in content production, and other important tools for journalists in the digital age.
In addition to the training session, the union has also planned round table meetings in collaboration with universities to discuss privacy issues and the expectations of the media sector from communication graduates. These meetings will provide a platform for journalists to share their experiences and insights on these important topics.
The highlight of the events will be a workshop on “The Privacy of Private Life” which will take place on Friday, May 3rd at 18.00. This workshop will focus on the protection of private life and will provide journalists with valuable information on how to navigate this complex issue in their reporting.
