KTSO Insists on Premium Support for Industrialists

Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry (KTSO) has reiterated its call for incentives and premium support to be provided to industrialists in the country. KTSO highlighted that the industrialists were in a “disadvantaged” position due to a range of concrete adverse conditions. The organisation referred to Prime Minister Ünal Üstel’s commitment to provide “30% insurance premium support” to the industrialist and demanded that this promise be fulfilled. KTSO emphasised that the country’s officials had often highlighted the importance of industry and production in its development, but called for the authorities to go beyond rhetoric and provide tangible support. The chamber pointed out that production costs were often beyond the control of the industrialist because of external factors, making it crucial to provide incentives and premium support.
