Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 65th Anniversary with Reception
The Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO) recently celebrated its 65th anniversary with a reception that brought together representatives of foreign missions on the island. The event, which is organized annually by KTTO, was attended by a wide range of foreign mission chiefs and members currently serving in Cyprus.
Among the distinguished guests were the Ambassadors of the United States of America, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, and the British High Commissioner. Additionally, members of the Embassies of China, Poland, Portugal, Germany, and the Netherlands, as well as representatives from the United Nations, European Commission, Greek Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other international organizations, were also present.
The reception, which was hosted by Chamber President Turgay Deniz, provided an opportunity for guests to celebrate the achievements of KTTO over the past 65 years. In his opening speech, President Deniz emphasized the Chamber’s role as the most prominent business organization in Northern Cyprus, representing nearly 5 thousand active members across various sectors.
Deniz also highlighted KTTO’s commitment to global reach, noting the establishment of representative offices in Brussels, Ankara, and London in recent years. He expressed the Chamber’s dedication to fostering a business-friendly environment, encouraging investment, and advocating for the interests of its members.
