II. International Positive Schools and Well-Being Congress to be Held in Girne
The II. International Positive Schools and Well-Being Congress, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and Tangül Ünal Çağıner Children’s Aid Foundation, is set to take place tomorrow. The Congress, which will run until Friday at the Acapulco Hotel, will welcome participants from 6 different continents and 31 countries, as announced by the Ministry of National Education.
The Congress will be presided over by Prof. Dr. Çağla Gür as the coordinator, with Specialist Başak Eser leading the organizing committee. The committee also includes General Secondary Education Department Director Cengiz Topel Uzun, Dr. İçim Çağıner Kavuklu, and Specialist Başak Eser.
Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu highlighted the importance of the Congress in focusing on well-being and positive thinking strategies in the field of education to strengthen the foundations of the future. He emphasized that the presentation of papers from various countries will showcase the country’s vision on the international stage.
General Secondary Education Department Director Cengiz Topel Uzun emphasized the role of well-being and positive thinking strategies in improving quality of life. He noted the continued interest in the Congress from last year and its significance in promoting the country’s recognition.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tangül Ünal Çağıner Children’s Aid Foundation İçim Çağıner Kavuklu expressed her belief that the projects presented at the Congress will positively impact children’s lives and brighten their future.
Congress President Prof. Dr. Çağla Gür described the event as a world-class gathering with broad participation and highlighted the importance of the topics related to well-being and positive thinking strategies in education and other fields.
Congress Coordinator Expert Başak Eser outlined the rich program of the event, including panels, workshops, and exhibitions like “Birkan Uzun at the Summit.” The Congress, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and Cyprus International University, supported by Tangül Ünal Çağıner Children’s Aid Foundation, will feature academic studies promoting well-being and positive thinking across various sectors from education to health.
