Kyrenia Municipality Offers Free Courses and Events for Students during February Holiday
Kyrenia Municipality is once again organizing a series of free courses and events for students during the upcoming February holiday. According to the Social Affairs Branch Chief, Serdar Tuksal, the program aims to provide students and parents with opportunities to have fun and learn through sports, cultural, and artistic activities.
The municipality’s goal is to offer alternative activities that will keep children away from screen addiction, which is becoming increasingly prevalent in today’s society. The courses and activities, targeting children aged 6-11, will be held at the old town hall, currently operating as the Social Life Center, on 3-4 and 10-11 February.
In addition to the courses, a special children’s play titled “Between Reality and Dream” will be presented at the Kyrenia Municipality Chamber Theater on 3, 10, and 17 February at 14.00. The free courses and events have limited availability, with a maximum of 20 participants, and the deadline for registration is January 31. Parents interested in registering their children for the events can do so by calling 0392 815 15 08 or 0539 112 63 63.
The program includes a variety of colorful and entertaining activities, such as jewelry design, ceramic and Linol printing workshops, painting sessions, fairy tale and drama workshops, and a children’s party at Ramadan Cemil Square on February 11.
