President Erdoğan Accepts Hamas Delegation
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan recently accepted a delegation from Hamas at the Presidential Complex in Turkey. The meeting, which took place following a statement from the Presidency Communication Presidency, focused on discussions regarding the ceasefire process in Gaza and current developments in Palestine.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan commended Hamas for their 471-day struggle, emphasizing that their spirit of resistance will not be lost. He also assured the delegation that Turkey will continue to advocate for and support the truth in Gaza, and expressed confidence in the successful completion of the second and third stages of the ceasefire process.
Accompanying President Erdoğan at the meeting were Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, MIT President Ibrahim Kalin, Communication President Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Special Pen Director Hasan Dogan, President Foreign Policy and Security Chief Advisor Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Chief Advisor Sefer Turan.
The discussions between President Erdoğan and the Hamas delegation underscore Turkey’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region, as well as its ongoing support for the Palestinian cause.
