Speaker of the Assembly Kurtulmuş: We carry the development administration of our country in every field
Numan Kurtulmuş, the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, emphasized the importance of protecting national unity and goals in a recent statement. He stated, “It is our main duty to protect our national unity and not stray from our national goals.”
As Turkey enters the second century of its Republic, Kurtulmuş highlighted the importance of remembering the principles and vision of the establishment. He emphasized that they are committed to developing the country in all fields.
In a message shared on social media for the 23rd of April National Sovereignty and Sports Day, Kurtulmuş reflected on the challenges faced by the nation in 1920 when they stood up for independence and sovereignty. He noted that the spirit and determination of that time continue to guide them in their efforts to increase the welfare of the nation.
Kurtulmuş also expressed gratitude to the deputies and martyrs who have served the nation, stating that April 23 is a day of conscience, not just a holiday. He reiterated the commitment of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to uphold the rights of humanity and fulfill their duty to the people.
