Severe weather warnings have been issued for various regions surrounding the Mediterranean Sea, with stormy winds expected to hit the South Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean areas.
In the Black Sea region, weather conditions are expected to be partly cloudy to very cloudy, with intermittent rainfall in the Central and Eastern areas. Winds will be blowing from the east and northeast in the Western Black Sea, shifting to northwest in the morning. In the Eastern Black Sea, winds will be coming from the north and northeast, picking up speed in the afternoon. Waves are expected to reach heights of 1.0 to 2.0 meters, with overall conditions deemed good.
Moving on to the Marmara region, skies will be partly to very cloudy with winds ranging from 3 to 5 forces coming from the north and northeast. Wider areas may experience stronger winds reaching up to 6 forces, with wave heights reaching up to 2.0 meters. Despite the conditions, the overall view is considered good.
In the Ege region, similar weather patterns are forecasted with wind speeds ranging from 3 to 7 forces in different areas. Waves are expected to be between 1.0 to 3.0 meters, with overall conditions still deemed good.
The Mediterranean region is expected to see partly cloudy to very cloudy conditions with intermittent thunderstorms. Winds will be blowing from various directions with corresponding force levels, while wave heights may reach up to 3.0 meters in certain areas.
Lastly, in Lake Van, weather conditions will also be partly to very cloudy with intermittent showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be blowing from the east and northeast with moderate force, and wave heights are expected to be relatively low. Overall conditions are considered good, but caution is advised during periods of rainfall.
