Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç answered the questions about the agenda on the CNN Turk screens in the program “Neutral Zone” with Ahmet Hakan.

“Now, of course, our country has been fighting against terrorism for 40 years. And for 40 years, one of the biggest obstacles to the development and progress of our country has been the issue of terrorism. We have martyrs. We have experienced great material and spiritual pain. Terrorism is not only the PKK terrorist organization, we are also a country that is simultaneously fighting with other terrorist organizations.”
He stated that the effort to end terrorism and take steps towards a terror-free Turkey is not just a current issue, but a continuous effort led by President Erdogan for the last 22-23 years. He mentioned the success of the security forces in eliminating the terrorist organization.
He emphasized the importance of having a terror-free Turkey and stated that if the terrorist organization does not respond to the call made by its leaders, the state will act. He clarified that the call is not made to the state but to the terrorist organization, and if the organization does not respond, the state will take necessary actions within the framework of the rule of law. He mentioned that the state does not negotiate with terrorists and that violent activities are not accepted in a democratic state.
