The Lavender Fields of Kuyucak Village in Turkey Attract Thousands of Visitors
Kuyucak village in Isparta, Turkey is gaining recognition for its stunning lavender fields. These “purple-painted” fields have become a popular attraction throughout the country.
Güral Yılmaz, the Headman of Kuyucak Village, expressed his delight in the festival’s success and the benefits it has brought to the village. The festival has generated significant attention and has had a positive impact on the local economy.
Visitors to the lavender gardens not only enjoy the opportunity to take beautiful pictures surrounded by nature but also experience a sense of calmness and tranquility. The unique atmosphere of the lavender fields has captivated the hearts of both domestic and foreign tourists.
Since the start of the festival on July 14th, the village has seen a considerable influx of tourists. As per data collected from the license plate recognition system at the village entrance, around 14,500 vehicles have entered the village. Assuming an average of four people per car and 25 people per tour bus, it is estimated that approximately 100,000 tourists have visited the village.
