According to reports from top US media outlets Axios and CNN, leaked information from Iran shared on Telegram has been confirmed to belong to US intelligence. Among the leaked information are Israel’s attack plans against Iran. The United States is currently conducting an investigation into the leak of highly classified US intelligence concerning Israeli retaliatory plans against Iran, as reported by three sources familiar with the situation. CNN has verified the authenticity of the leaked documents, which have raised significant concerns among US officials.
The leaked documents, dated October 15 and 16, have been circulating online since Friday after being shared on Telegram by an account named “Middle East Spectator.” The documents are marked as “Classified” and contain instructions that they should only be viewed by the United States and its “Five Eyes” allies – Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. It is reported that one of the documents, purportedly compiled by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, pertains to Israeli munitions.
According to American officials who spoke to CNN, Israel is expected to carry out its planned counter-attack on Iran before the upcoming US elections on November 5. Senior Israeli officials reportedly met on Tuesday to discuss the specifics of the attack plan.
