Load Transfer Process for Precautionary Measures in Certain Regions – BRTK
As the weather cools down, there is a noticeable increase in electricity consumption across the region. Dalman Aydin, the General Manager of KIB-TEK, recently addressed the issue in a statement to BRT. He mentioned that in order to prevent overloading in certain regions, there have been short-term power outages implemented.
One incident that occurred during the day was a transformer in the Dikmen region exploding due to overload. Fortunately, the teams were quick to respond and intervene in the situation. Aydin assured the public that there is no problem with electricity production itself.
Aydin further emphasized that KIB-TEK has an adequate supply of fuel in their warehouses. He stated, “Measures have been put in place for precautionary purposes,” assuring the public that steps have been taken to address any potential challenges that may arise.
With the increase in electricity consumption during the colder weather, it is important for both the authorities and the public to remain vigilant and take necessary steps to ensure a smooth and reliable power supply.
