Location of CHP Pre-Election Chests and Voting Time Confirmed
The Republican People’s Party (CHP) is gearing up for its pre-election process to determine the presidential candidate. In a recent announcement, the CHP revealed that on March 23, all citizens, excluding party members, will have the opportunity to vote. Non-members who wish to participate in the vote can do so by casting their ballots in a separate box until March 22.
For those interested in participating in the CHP pre-election, they can find out the voting locations by visiting the “Öncesecim.chp.org.tr” website or using the CHP mobile application’s “Where to Vote” tab. On March 23, CHP members will cast their votes at approximately 4,000 polling stations across Türkiye to determine their candidate. The voting will take place from 08.00 to 17.00 on Sunday, March 23, throughout the country. The results of the pre-election are expected to be announced on the same day, officially revealing the CHP’s presidential candidate.
As for the potential presidential candidate, Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu was the only nominee for the CHP’s candidacy in the pre-election process. However, his candidacy is in doubt due to his recent detention as part of an investigation and the revocation of his diploma.
