Magtymguly Fragi’s Selected Works Presented in Chinese
Presentation of the collection of selected works of Magtymguly Fragi published in Chinese was held
On December 25, 2024, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a presentation of the collection of selected works of Magtymguly Fragi that has been published in Chinese.
The event brought together officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as faculty members, students, and media representatives.
During the presentation, speeches were given by the Rector of the Institute, Gulshat Yusupova, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan, Qian Naicheng, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China, Parahat Durdyev, and other teachers of the Institute. Additionally, video addresses from prominent figures in China were shared during the event.
In his speech, Ambassador Qian Naicheng highlighted the significance of this new edition in enhancing cultural and humanitarian dialogue between Turkmenistan and China. The translation of Magtymguly Fragi’s works into Chinese provides readers in China with a glimpse into the rich poetic heritage of the great Turkmen poet, reflecting the life philosophy, customs, traditions, and values of the Turkmen people.
Participants acknowledged that despite the passage of centuries, Magtymguly’s works continue to resonate today, attracting admirers beyond the borders of Turkmenistan. His poetry serves as a beacon of patriotism, humanism, peace, friendship, and cultural exchange.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that Magtymguly Fragi’s poetry now serves as a vehicle for promoting goodwill and fostering stronger ties between Turkmenistan and the global community, nurturing international humanitarian relations.
