Major Ammunition Seized in Claw-Kilit Area
The Turkish Armed Forces continue their successful operations against terrorists in the Pence region. According to the Ministry of National Defense, a significant amount of weapons and ammunition were discovered during search and screening activities in the operation area.
Among the items seized were 9 hand grenades, 6 smoke bombs, 1000 pieces of 7.62 mm PKMS machine gun ammunition, 900 AK-47 infantry rifle ammunition, 230 M-16 infantry rifle ammunition of 5.56 mm, 20 Dochka machine gun ammunition, 13 anti-aircraft ammunition of 12.7 mm, 1 anti-tank mine, 5 pressing mechanisms, 4 main charging charges, 1 generator, 1 uninterruptible power supply, 2 tubes, and 1 battery.
These findings are a clear indication of the ongoing threat posed by terrorist groups in the region. The Turkish Armed Forces remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of the area by disrupting terrorist activities and seizing illegal weapons and ammunition.
